I really miss Treets.  I seem to remember them in a yellow bag.  I seem to recall them being still around in the early 80's.  the last one I had with certainty was one that was mixed up in a bag of Revels.

Absolutely right madeyes. The blue bags were lovely toffee ones. A cripsy coating, creamy chocolate and chewy toffee. Mmmmmmmmmm.

Of course, the brown ones are still with us. They became Minstrels. Its strange that the peanut and toffee ones were mishapen round and the chocolate ones were flat.

The toffee ones in Revels are NOTHING like treets IMO.

Old but spicey!

Recently seen a big bag of toffee poppets. The size of the cinema bags of revels etc. Hadn't seen these before...are they new?

Can you still get Smarties in boxes as well as tubes? I ask because they always used to sell those at the cinema too.

Somehow all of those always taste better from boxes than tubes.  Or is it just the fact that there are more of them that makes them better?

I always used to think that. Just like chips taste better out the newspaper than they do those plastic box things they come in now.
