Horse pooper scoop
« on: April 27, 2007, 08:01:56 am »
Why hasn't someone invented the pooper scoop on a very long stick for horseriders so they can pick up after their horses have dumped in my back lane. There should be some law against leaving it behind.

I have never thought about that, but now I do you have a point Loulou.
It is expected that you clean up after you dog, but horses can poop anywhere and their riders just get to leave it.

It is just as disgusting and of course there is even more of it.

You're right there ought to be a law against leaving it behind.Big%20smile

i hate the way horse-riders make absolutely no effort to get out of the road when your driving behind them, even when they could just go into a lay-by for thirty seconds and let the mounting trail of traffic pass. most of the horsey-types down here are so bloody arrogant.

they say 'horses have priority because they were here before cars'... but ROADS weren't, so where's the logic there?

Horse poo is not toxic because horses do not eat meat. That is why it's safe to put horse poo on your vegetable garden. Dog poo is very toxic so there's a law against dog fouling.

Ahh yes Oldspice...very true and horse poo does grow great rhubarb. LOL
Toxoplasmosis is a problem aswell with dog and cat poo isn't it?

But for me the problem is not toxicity, or if it is meat generated or not. My problem is that whatever animal it comes from, sitting in the road or on the pathway it all smells and stepping in it is just ookie. LOL

Anyone who has changed a little boy's nappy will know what they sometimes do the minute you take their nappy off. I wouldn't fancy a horse doing that!  Also, I would'nt fancy creaming it's bum. oldspice2007-05-03 06:50:25

I never thought of the creaming the bum bit. Probably need a very thick nappy and a hell of a lot of cream.
