GC with 'star' you are thinking along the same lines as I have been. For example there are 6 stars on the australian flag. Also the 6 stars on the Australian flag each have 6 points. It just doesn't quite fit with the question. I never thought of 'petals' though maybe you are on to something there.
 

It's driving me crazy! I hope we find the answer out after all of this!
