Did you watch the "Making Your Mind Up" show last weekend? What do you think of our representatives, Scooch?

I don't know whether they're flying the flag for me, but I really like it. It's so jolly and so very Eurovision. (Kind of bouncy and up.)
I can't believe that Terry Wogan read out the wrong name for the winner. The poor man must be so embarassed. I'm not sure they can blame him though, he'd only have said what he heard through his ear piece wouldn't he?

I like Terry Wogan, he always seems so kind and gentle.

As for Scooch I wish them luck and I'll be sat with my mum cheering them on on Eurovision night.Clap

Horrifying! I hope we are the only country to get zero points again. The year we got that was hysterical to watch.

I think Eurovosion has become a bizarre parody and therefore it wouldn't be Eurovison unless it was kitch, camp and over-the-top. As such the choice was obvious. Its gloriously embarrassing.

or in 1980 when some country  showed cats and lake instead of showing Israil winning it and and that state that Belguim won it! Confused

I think it's so awful that I just have to love it! We still have no chance though, as Eastern Europe has it sown up.

But isn't that what makes it so wonderful? Most of it is dross but the old friendships just keep on flourishing and getting nurtured however bad the songs are. We just have to sit down with lots of nibbles and a few drinks and watch the panto!

No - it makes a mockery of the idea that it's about the quality of the songs! They seriously need to review the voting system; one member one vote just doesn't work when you have a phone vote. How can the votes of Monaco, which has a population of about nine, count for the same as the votes of the UK, Germany and France with 60 million plus potential voters?

I totally agree, although I found the guy who says "would you like a complimentary drink with your meal Sir?" a bit frightening!

I went to school with Natalie Powers of Scooch 'fame'. She's six years older than me, and boy did she look it on Saturday!

Yes, I thought they all looked a bit elderly. In fact, they looked like Bucks Fizz' grandparents!

I see in the paper today one of the male singers from Scooch is from the north east and has been accused of miming. Naughty boy.
