Tell me what song makes you happy Big%20smile

I make happy playlists / compilations for listening to in the car, but after 3 compilations I am running out of ideas for the next one. So give me your suggestions please!

not sure happy is the right word, but a song that mkaes me feel absolutely great and inspired is 'brave new world', from jeff wayne's 'the war of the worlds'.

Thanks for the responses so far Big%20smile

Shiny Happy People and Birhouse in your Soul are already on compilation number 1 but good to know we are thinking on the same lines!

The Proclaimers will definitely be going on the next compilation.

As for Jeff Wayne I don't know it but I will definitely look out for it. It's not going to make me cry is it? Songs that make me inspired sometimes make me cry and that's no good if I am driving LOL

the jeff wayne track wont make you cry - it's just an inspiring song (though many would disagree with me.) you'd probably have to listen to the whole 'war of the worlds' double album to get the right reaction anyway.

Songs that make me really happy and I love to sing along to are Parklife by Blur, Day Dream Believer by The Monkees and Lets Face The Music (And Dance) by Nat King Cole.

If I want something smoother I would go for Something (The Beatles), Lay Lady Lay (Bob Dylan), God Only Knows (The Beach Boys) or Michael Row The Boat Ashore (The Highwaymen - it makes me go all goosey).

Sorry they're all old!
Old but spicey!
