China Chocolate
« on: March 05, 2007, 03:07:21 am »

Hello, i am from China, an organizer of the greatest chocolate event in China--China Chocolate Peak 2007, and i do not mean to do AD. in the forum,  i would like to say someting for the China Chocolate, as well as the market.

China, to some European countries, as well the USA, is just the child for the chocolate. Now in China, for the chocolate brands, only a few can be able to take up some regional chocolate market, for Yake(Excellent), Le Conte, Jin sihou(hang tian), etc, for the main chocolate market, it is dominated by some international chocolate brands and coporation, for example, Nestle, Fererro, Barry&Callebaut, Lindt(hong kong and some great city), Hershey,Defu, etc, takes up more than 50% of the market, and sme of them are chocolate with stuffing, not the high quality chocolate we need.

For the national chocolate, the taste is too simplex, but accord to the chinese habit.

Now, more and more international brands have entered the hugest market, or going to enter, bringing huge experience and stratagem, more and more chinese chocolate manufacturers learn  more and more from it, benefit from it, and is going to form its characteristic chocolate, or event to begine its international steps, for example, Yake.

Being in the hugest market, hearing a lot and experienced a lot, i am sure that you are going to heard more about the china chocolate, talking more about the china chocolate, or event tasting more about the china chocolate.

Thanks so much and i am glad to hear from you for any good suggestion for the china chocolate or the market.

For chocolate manufacturers, who are interested in the China chocolate market, i would like to do you the favor.  China Chocolate Peak 2007, organized by CNCA-china national candy association, the one make and decide the standars for the china chocolate, will be held on Aug 21th to 23th, 2007,in China Hotel, Canton, China. Regarding to the contact, i would like to list unless i get the permit from the "Boss" of the Forum, sorry.

Finally, i hope wo share my experience of China Chocolate, as well as the market with all of you, all the chocolate lovers in UK.

Enjoy you time here and i wish you and your families a sweet life.

Smile

I don't think this is the most suitable place to post this jackson - all we do on here is comment about new chocolate bars and so on. We're not so passionate about chocolate that we hold chocolate tasting parties or anything like that.

What I mean is that I think you may be able to get where you want via other avenues - through Uk chocolate manufacturers and so on.

You see, this site is really just for chocolate fans. We don't manufacture it or anything. Neither do we buy and sell it on a commercial basis. The 'Adverts' thread is really for us to talk about old or new TV or radio adverts (that's how sad we get sometimes!).

Of course, carry on chatting to us, but if you want more commercial links you need to contact the big (and small - they will be looking for a market to sell in too) chocolate producers.

Why don't you make contact with our Ministry of Trade? They will be more than happy to help as it is their job to help companies find new markets to trade in.

Old but spicey!

great, oldspice.

Yes, i have try several time in China, to suggest the foreign agencies in China to have a promotion for their national chocolate to enter the china market, but without response.

Now, i am writing a plan,  a plan about the national chocolate forum, it includes several parts:

1. the first target i UK. I would like to organize an Industrial exchang-forum for candy and chocolate between UK and China.  In China, i have found the CNCA support-the most authorative industrial association in China, as well as support from Canton Government. Now i would like to looking for help from UK, but i do not know whom should i turn to. Actually, it will a complete UK candy and chocolate promotion forum with help of China industrial association and government.

2. Organizing a worldwise industrial forum, special for chocolate. Now i have got in touch with some foreign industrial association for this business, special the ICA-international confectionery association.  Then if it works, it will be a greatest chocolate event in the world, happen in the greatest market--China.

So, the CNCA-CHINA NATIONAL CANDY ASSOCIATION, has agreed to organize such an activity in China for the UK MANUFACTURERS, as well as any country who is interested in China chocolate market.

I am sure that my plan will be finished by the en of this month, so Oldspice, will you inform this to your Academe, who is going to organize an UK team to the china market? or would you please pass the idea to some related government in UK ?

Any suggestion, please do let me know soon.

Or we might have a discussion by email, as i am afraid i will be kicked out of the form. so what is your idea?
