Lunch at work for me is cheese savoury sandwich, gingerbread man, wotsits and lucozade.

Yes - it's my usual lunch at work. And I do make my own soup - vatloads of the stuff - but I like to keep a few tins in as a standby. I don't like packet soup at all though.

Packet soup is a lot of salt and not much else. I have some in my desk for emergencies, but I'm not usually that desperate.

Usually I make my own soup but I bought some canned soups to try out different flavours. I usually have soup for lunch at work but a sandwich with it would be too much for me. Like GC, I am not a fan of packet soup. My mum has those cuppa soups for her lunch and they are totally

My kids would eat packet soup if given the chance....... they rarely get the chance at home, but my mum sometimes gives them one when they visit her.

The last time I tried one of those (eldest daughter managed to persuade me to try a new carrot and coriander flavour) I ended up throwing it down the sink. Never again! I bet the packet would taste better.

Packet soup is generally crap but I had some leftover Cup-a-soup last night and it was nice for a snack.

No i pay 59p a time for one. Well worth it though as he has red icing for coat buttons and chocolate eyes.

I've always found gingerbread men from bakeries a bit cheap tasting. I had one from Cafe Nero last week which was nicer than the regular bakery ones.

I like the ring doughnuts which have pink icing and diagonal chocolate stripes from the bakery. But most cakes and buns I prefer from the supermarket unfortunately.

I always think those donuts look so yummy, and every now and again I think I'll have to buy one and I do, but two mouthfuls into it I realise I am not enjoying myself and that's when I remember that I don't like donuts! I wish they tasted as good as they look to me.

I do love the iced finger buns with jam in from Tesco, and they do wonderful jam tarts, but somehow store bought scones never taste as good as home made.
