A horse gets new shoes every 5 weeks and although they don't really look that painful when they are being put on I wonder why they don't just make them sort of nice wooly socks like Totes but stronger with a non slip bottom.

I just can't help seeing all those horses in non slip totes toasties ... in various shades of course

Not as much as the person selling the horse socks. I'd want pink ones if I had a horse.

Ahh, but if horses wore totes toasties then you would never hear that clip clop sound .... unless they had a few blakeys in them

I can solve that problem. when they are going for a walk we sellotape some coconut shell to the bottom of the socks.

Do you think I should put something together and go on Dragons Den and ask for investment? Obviously I won't get a real horse up those stairs but I have plans to ask Smurfy and GC to wear a horse costume.

In the old days poultry had to be walked from Norfolk to London for slaughter and the birds were given little socks to wear for the walk.

That's so cute but a shame they were having their feet kept warm for slaughter.
