One of my usual language rants - why is it that over the last few years we've started to 'listen up' instead of just listen, 'wait up' instead of wait and now I keep getting told by shop assistants that clothes I buy 'wash up beautifully'.  I'm still waiting to see them standing behind the kitchen sink.
