What's happening to the residents of Corrie and their hair?

Liz looks like Cruella Deville, David Platt looks like Mary Quant and his mum, Gail look like the flying nun. To say nothing of Adam, whose barnet looks like it was inspired by Blanche.

On the subject of Adam, how come no one noticed he disappeared for six months? Is he following in Tracy's footsteps bygoing upstairs to play his tapes for years on end?

Liz's hair is truly horrifying.

Funny you should say that about Adam because that's exactly what my son and I said to each other!  He suddently appeared downstairs  on the night Charlie got the chop!

On the same topic, where do all the people staying in in Ken and Deirdre's place sleep?  They always have space to put up Tracey and Amy and Adam and Blanche are living there too!

It's the same in EastEnders. The pub, the Slaters' house and Pat's place all seem to have endless numbers of bedrooms to accommodate the odd distant family member who pops in after thirty years absence and stay for at least five years!  How many people are living at Pat's now?  Well, there's Pat, Kevin, his girlfriend, his ex-wife, his girlfriend's two children, his own two children.......

Quite. Even if we assume Chelsea and Squiggle are sharing a room and Shirley is kipping on the sofa, that would still require five bedrooms!

All that space and nowhere to put a washing machine!

And are we to believe a busy pub like the Queen Vic can't afford a washing machine to clean its bar towels, tea towels and other laundry a pub would produce?  They could even set it against tax- it wouldn't cost them a bean.

Additionally, a washing machine is considered a necessity these days and if you can not afford one the social will help you out so all those people in the square that have to use the laundrette should have a word down at the DHSS.

It could be worse. We could be discussing the latest chocolate bar.

Well I bet you wouldn't mind if we were talking about buses! If you don't like the thread, don't bloody well post on it.

Well there are quite a few toungue-in-cheek Corrie fans on the forum who like discussing the characters and their eccentricities so what's the problem?

It certainly beats complaining about a bunch of bus huggers.

He's not in Corrie. He's revolting and if there's one thing guaranteed to get me hopping mad it's people telling me to calm down!
