You have to do something to pass the time between episodes of 'Heartbeat'.
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

Old people have all the time in the world yet they insist on going to the post office on a Saturday when people who work all week want to be served.

And they walk at snails pace in the street, then suddenly stop without warning, causing you to nearly fall over them.

And they get the bus at 8.30am when they could go an hour later, not slow the buses down when people are trying to get to work, AND travel for free.

Which was exactly my point! I complained about OAPs travelling at 8.30 and said they could go for free an hour later. Unless the space/time continum has shifted, I do believe 9.30 is an hour after 8.30.

The bus driver call them Twirlies because when they get on at 9.20am hpoing to use their pass the driver says "Sorry, you're too early".

The other thing that old people do that scares me to death is, in our local shopping centre, they get on the excalator then when they get to the top they STOP DEAD trying to remember where they want to go next. Everyone behind them then piles into them and they start fussing and saying how everyone is pushing them!

Old but spicey!

My grandad did that once at the station but it was before he got on an escalator. He stopped right in front of it and refused to get on, causing a massive queue of angry commuters behind him.

Also when you're walking down the street they weave about in front of you, so you can't get passed.  I will give my seat up to people if they are a pregnant woman or are really old, but I wont give it up to people who are a bit old.  It's not fair on everyone else- I mean where do you draw the line?

Why are you worried about being passed?

If you sit near the back of the bus it's unlikely you will need to give up your seat.

Would you give up your seat for a schoolgirl?

Bounty I dare you not to use the words "lap" or "knee" in your response.

You're right though Bounty. They do weave about all over the pavement, then just when you think you'll dive through a gap they step into the gap and stand still.
Old but spicey!
