Did anyone else watch the fireworks from the London Eye on TV last night (or live of course). I thought it was the best display I'd ever seen! I'd love to go up and see them next year but the hassle of getting home again puts me off.

My son went. He is still there! he phoned and said they were brilliant.

We saw them briefly on TV and thought they were beautiful.

we don;t get the london fire works we get the edinburgh ones,

but the storm killed of the party so we had some Pre reocered fireworks!

I saw in the New Year in Copenhagen in 1995. The fireworks there, not just the organised display in Tivoli gardens but just the ones that everyone was letting off was amazing. The city was full of families with bags of fireworks. There must have been millions of squibs - I've never seen anything like it. And not one bit of trouble.

Lou Lou they're beautiful. I love fireworks.

Couldn't see any fireworks from my house it faces the sea, and I missed the ones on TV. (busy watching a movie)

I saw it. We had some go off in my area too but they werent that amazing.

I saw the London fireworks on TV, they must have lasted 10 minutes and looked really great. Were people in the London Eye capsules or not?

We didn't have fireworks at home, the winds were way too strong to make it safe.

But I am a transplant in Wales, I originally come from Yorkshire.

Here is much nicer. Fresh air, beaches and not very many people until the tourist season starts.
