Having not known much about Bluetooth when this thread was started, I'm now fully converted to it and we're like a lot of sad teenagers at work, swapping photos, ringtones and video clips.  And my name is, no points for guessing - Goldencup!

 i thought bluetooth was just an ear device for receiving hands free calls.

When I first got my phone and pc bluetooth dongle I gave them cute names but on the ferry and generally in crowds (even once when I was driving around a roundabout) people kept trying to use bluetooth to share files with me which I didn't like.

  Excellent idea - I hadn't thought about that aspect!  I don't generally keep the Bluetooth switched on so nobody I don't know has tried to contact me so far.
