I think all people have to take responsibility for their actions no matter if they belong to a religious group or not. True i did express a opinion based on my belief i didnt mean to insult or harm anyone with it biggots do try and condem / harm people. There is a difference it doesnt teach that if you dont agree you must condem that person. I also not agree with adultry but i am not going to condem all adultrous out there etc...

The Communists tried to ban religion and it thrived underground. Ithink there is a lot to be said for having a spritual aspect to your life (a belief in and a relationship with God or something similar) but that should not extend to condeming other people's personal lifestyle choices.

Religion was used to keep the peasants in line in the Middle Ages, and is still used for the same purpose. People risk breaking the law because they think they won't get caught, but if they're brainwashed into thinking there is this all-knowing, all-seeing higher power who can punish them for all eternity, they fall into line. I think rich people hide behind religion and pretended to be religious when the werent so they could oppress poor people and they oppress poor people today also i feel a lot of human beings beleive in a higher power or good and evil or else whats the point in everything if theres no after life would anything really matter and a quote from ususal suspects _ the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didnt exist> DEEP
