I'm just about to have rhubarb pie and ice cream.  It is my Mum's birthday tomorrow and she is baking a carroway seed cake as way of celebration.

Well judging by your religious bile in the Elton John thread you obviously do think I'm dirty. Or was that a 'joke' too?

Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

There's a new show on next week starring Dawn French and the woman who plays Barbara in The Royle Family.

I am getting very addicted to Bid TV, Price-drop TV and speed auction TV so much so that my housework is getting neglected

I nearly bought some Vidal Sasoon hair straighteners the other day because they were £2.99 I would never use them, I had some once and gave them away because I didn't use them.

When I was in woolies there was a woman looking at Fur real friends pets (which are nearly 50 quid) and I said to her don't buy that from here it's only £16.99 on Price-drop TV... I didn't even know this woman I bet she thought I was a right loon

What'll I do?

I've seen that at my parents' house and it's horribly addictive. My mother and I came so close to bidding on dozens of things we knew very well we'd never use, purely because the low price draws you in.
