I think if Paul was a wife beater he would not have such a good relationship with his former wife's family (the Eastmans). Also, I don't believe that rubbish about drink and drugs. Paul is well-known for not wasting money and I can't believe he would throw money away on things that would harm his body as he is a well-known health fantatic too.

Why, if it's what she thinks? It's what a hell of a lot of other people think too!

Picking up on Oldspice's point on Paul's relationship with Linda's family, you can apply this to his kids too. Surely they wouldn have known if their mother was being abused? Mary McCartney isn't even Paul's biological daughter - she's Linda's from a previous relationship - so she needn't have anything to do with him if he's really some monster who beat her mother.
