I used to shop in Aldi. They have nice selections of chocolates and biscuits, amongst other things.

Lidl is better if you like brand names.
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

I love going to Aldi every now and then - for extras not my main shop. It feels a bit like shopping abroad with all their different things!

I love both of them - again not for a main shop but for bits and pieces.

I like Lidl and, like Bethypoos, shop there for extras. I like their chocolates and jaffa cakes a lot! I love how they sell odd things every now and again.

As for Aldi, I have never been.

Agreed. I used to love the glass bottles they did years ago too. Plastic just isn't the same.

Plastic bottles are a lot safer.

I don't mind paying a little extra for better taste.
