I belive there shuodl og built the dam thing in the first place if you look at the map of the UK you will see lots of missing links!

which should of got built back in the 70's and the 80;s!

There are no motorways west of Exeter. There is an 'expressway' through Devon but nothing similar in the whole of Cornwall. Most of Cornwall has a single carriageway. In a rural area where public transport is so lacking, it's almost essential to have your own transport, and yet the road infrastructure does not support it.

I remember visiting Devon and Cornwall in the early 1980s when all traffic had to filter through Oakehampton. We used to stay just outside Oakehampton and travel round the region and there was always a lot of traffic. It is a beautiful part of the country however and I miss going there twice a year like we used to.

M8 in scotladn, M1 to scotland - Newcastle

A66: scottish coner - M6

M67 in near macnhester - it was only built in th emidlle the start and the end points still need to be built!

there loads that never got builtQ

In August 2006 Cornwall got the go ahead to build a bypass at Dobwalls. The Government first identified the need for this bypass in the 1960s.
