Sherrie Lewis was the mother of Dale Winton. AS a child, i could never understand how the television people expected us to beleive that lamb chop was a lamb. he was so obviously a wooly sock.

This is odd - I haven't heard of Sherrie Lewis for years and last night there was a question about her at my pub quiz!

Shari Lewis wasn't Dale Winton's mother - that was Sherrie Winton. She committed suicide in 1976.
