I heard Charlie Williams has died.
 
I remember him being billed as "the first black comedian on "The Comedians" and was a great host of The Golden Shot.
 
He had been suffering from Parkinsons and  Alzheimers for some time and died in Barnsley General Hospital.

Yes, not quite my style of comedy.  I haven't seen or heard of him for ages.  Hope he rests in peace.  Has the shock of it cured your spelling 623?

Golden Shot used to be on after The Cherie lewis show and before Ann of Green Gables.  reminds me of my childhood, thanks Lou.

I had a lamb chops made from a wooly sock with 2 buttons for eyes.

Might have been Sherry, always saw her as a Cherie.  She was cute.  Passed away early
