Is anyone else annoyed by dog owners who let their dogs off their leads in the park, then watch the dog jump about snarling at your feet and slobbering all over you without doing a damn thing?

I totally agree smurfy. When my children were small two giant Alsatians bounded up to them barking and snapping and my kids screamed like mad (I almost did too). The owner pulled them away and snarled at me for letting my kids scream at his dogs. They were only about 2 and 4 years old and anyway, we have a by-law that forbids people letting their dogs off the lead in parks.

Old but spicey!

I take a plastic bag and put it over my hand then pick up the poo inside the bag. I don't have a scooper thing. I couldn't pick up after someone elses dog but if you can't pick up after your own you shouldn't have a dog.

What is there is a small tear in the bag?

Perhaps your friends were too polite to tell you that your hand stunk.

Perhaps it just hasn't happened and if it did it wouldn't be that much of a disaster. Picking up after your dog is like picking up after your baby.

I used to look after my mums cat and cleaning out the litter tray in the mornings was hell. She would never poo in the tray, it would always be dribbling down the side.

Just curious - does anyone think cat owners should scoop up their cats poo if they poo in someone elses garden?

That's a difficult one because how can someone who lets their cat out know where it is pooing. There's a simple solution to stop cats coming in your garden...grated lemon peel

Well I tried this Lou and it tasted horrible.

To be honest my cat wasn't bothered he just went outside as usual and did his business.

Why do the birds always poop down my window the minute the window cleaner has finished?

Bird Pooping Can't we poison them? Are they necessary?
