Are you a sufferer? Research shows eating ginger biscuits or drinking ginger beer while travelling will ease nausea.

Just be careful not to do it whilst driving!

Once I was in the car with my friend and she was eating an apple while driving. We were in a queue of traffic all being stopped by police and being asked if we had witnessed an accident the previous day. Anyway the policewoman started lecturing my friend on how she couldn't possibly be concentrating on her driving if she was eating an apple. I started to laugh and the policewoman told me I should try and understand the serious accident that could be caused if my friend was to start choking on an apple pip.
