Death by chocolate?

This remindss me of a story about three frogs that our headmaster used to telll us in assembly about once a term.

Three frogs fell into a vat of cream and were in danger of drowning. Two of the frogs tried to climb out but couldn't. They gave up trying and drowned. The third frog decided to swim round and round until he could work out how to get out of the vat. As he swam, the cream in the middle of the vat gradually turned into butter onto which the frog jumped thus he was able to escape.

The moral of this stroy was supposed to be -  kkeep your head in a crisis, don't give up and eventually things willl work out.

Dear old Mr Paul died llasst summer aged 92 so it obviously worked for him

Unfortunately, he drowned in a vat of cream. Well at his age he couldn't swim fast enough to churn it.

Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

No, he sat down in his favourite chair with a good book, went to sleep and that was that.

That's so sweet. Definitely the best way to go. My friends dad died last weekend. It was his grand daughters birthday party and all the family were visiting from the south and he had all his daughters and grandchildren in the garden for a barbeque when he had a heart attacked and died. He was only 60 . Isn't there a saying about it being a good day to die?

It must have been a bit of a shock for all the family. 60 is far too young to go. I want to go to sleep and never wake up. I'm not bothered who is there at the time.

I think 60 is a decent age is you consider that after this age many people start to go senile and have dementia problems etc. I hate the thought of living to 80+ and ending up in an old persons home.

The funny thing is, the older you get the less you feel that age is actually old. Isn't that right Goldencup/Oldspice?laugh

60 is no way a decent age to die. I have known many people to live until 90 and still be living at home without being senile. My mother is 73 and says in her head she still feels 24. She is young at heart and very active.

At least we're happy to admit our ages!  There are others on here who aren't far behind and seem to think they are about 25.  (And no Loulou, I'm not referring to you!).
