Those poor pigs Trinny and Susannah are dead now. Did anyone see the programme?

Yes I definitely am. I am not much of a meat eater anyway as I do not enjoy the taste or the smell so I won't miss it. After watching that programme last night and having been so shocked and upset by it I will never touch meat again.

I watched it and although I won't say I enjoyed it, I was impressed at how quick it was and how well cared for the pigs were before hand, which is more than can be said for a lot of animals bred for food.  There were clear warnings given out by channel 4 before and you could tell Gordon Ramsey was moved by it all, I like him!

I like Gordon and I think he was having second thoughts about killing the pigs.

The difference is, 623, that we have more than enough food without having to breed and kill pigs to eat.

I am debting going veggie again. Hard decision! Last night was awful. I don't know about you Loulou - are you giving up meat or are you going whole hog (excuse the pun) and giving up by products? I always found gelatine the hardest thing to give up, because i had to avoid certain yoghurts and chocolate mousses!

Just the meat bethypoos. I am too confused what not to eat as a full vegetarian.

I try to avoid as much meat as I can but I'm not going to go the whole hog and avoid eggs and milk and the like.

Intensive farming is wrong, I'll grant you, but to deny yourself meat if you like the taste is just silly.
