What do you think of this artist? Do you like her work? I have to say personally I find it quite simplistic and of little artistic value. Here is an example:

This is a quote from Phyllis Berman on her influences:

"I have always loved the serenity of a Vermeer painting and the stillness that portrays chaos in a Piero della Francesca battle scene.  For me, the pictorial surface order of these pictures is not static but charged with the anticipation of impending movement."

Vermeer eh? What a coincidence!

Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

I've always thought the Vermeer thing was a strange coincidence.

A spot of Googling soon reveals that Vermeer Chocolate Liqueur is named after the artist Johannes Vermeer - who Phyllis Berman (the artist) is a big fan of. Google Mr Vermeer, you'll soon find the article about Berman - and you have yourself a brand new fake identity.

Johannes Vermeer died in the 17th Century so I'm not suggesting he was Phyllis! What I'm saying is that Phyllis was obviously an alter ego - unless we believe it's pure coincidence that Phyllis Berman, artist, loves Johannes Vermeer and Phyllis Bermann, chocolate review nuisance, loves Vermeer liqueur.

Can we stop with the Phyllis B. stuff, going on and on.

I've had a request from Minty to post the following so consider yourselves reprimanded:

" This will be my last post as to allegations put to me

1-     For the record smurfy I have known Homer a lot longer than I have belonged to this website. He has known Mitch a lot longer….

2-     I’m not Phyllis never have been even though you all seem to think so, chocadmin has my ip address as I only have the one computer he will know it's not me.

3-     Cody I feel totally betrayed by you I sent a private message to you, which you then posted, I have in previous messages given you my email address.  For this reason I have  contacted chocadmin to  see where I stand, as I do not wish my email to become public….

When I joined this site last year I came to the conclusion that this was a friendly and pleasant site, in recent months the venom has become far worse, one reason I haven't been on so much lately,I personally feel like I’m being attacked for being someone who I am not…

whether you believe me or not is up to you, just remember what has happened to me recently could happen to you next."

And 623, I just can't believe you'd post something from a PM like that**snip**!

This is obviously a sore spot to a few of us.

We have to stop picking at it though.
