Marble is Paulham's partner isn't she?  That's what I thought anyway.

I gave some money for the tsunmi survivors. They were collecting when I went to get a paper and some milk on Monday.

I am obviously not going to disagree with her........

I think it is the "look how much I've donated" that annoyed her.

Isn't that the job of Governments?!

AGAIN!, I have no hidden agenda.  My point was that this is massive.  It's like 100 September 11th's, probably much worse.  The force of earthquake that  caused this Tsunami happens every 75 years.  We should all give £25 and if only 3/4 gets to the people -OK.

A lot of the people affected by this were impoverished anyway without this.

Paulham and Marble if you can afford £25 then give it.  If you can afford £100 then give that.

I did not start this argument (this time  ), although I realise I am perpetuating it.

To reply, Bounty, yes we will, but we aren't about to let everyone know about it (the amount).

Everybody is different, but to us it is kinda vulgar.

Oh for crying out loud.   OK I'll give £4 if it'll make you happy.

I think anybody giving any amount, be it 25p, £25 or £25,000, is doing their bit and that is what counts.

P.S. I've worked in charity shops and the only people who got paid were the managers, and trust me, they weren't in it for the money - they were on crap wages. It would be nice to think 100% of charity donations go direct to the good cause, but in reality there will always be some running costs. I gave up 8 hours a week to work there, but I wouldn't expect someone to give up 40 hours a week and take on the responsibility of managing a team for free.

Who needs karma when you know you're great already?
