she did 3 stupide things

1: she NEVER built more council house
2: SHE NEVER GIVE FRE HELP TO THOSE JOBLESS ( like FREE traing cousre)
£: she brough in a NEW TAX

I'm glad she sold off the council houses. Best thing she ever did.

The miners got retrained and earnt more. They made more money because they got to buy their homes.

The tax wasn't the best but which tax is good?

Have you been to many ex-mining communities? They are ghost towns. Selling off council houses is no way to make people rich. What happens when the next generation need them?

The average wage in this city is £14,000 - the average two bedroom home here costs £110,000. Work it out. How can you save and sustain a mortgage on that level of income?

I think you are trying to wind us up. How can you be more careful with 14,000? For a start you do not take that much home. You pay rent, council tax, water rates, fuel bills, food bills - how much is left to be careful with??
