I must say, although the news says today is the hottest, I thought yesterday was much hotter.

It was so hot in my office this afternoon, I actually nodded off whilst reading some research at my desk. Even now, typing this at 8.41pm in my study at home, it is 30c in the room.

Old but spicey!

According to the sun newspaper (so it must be true) it was hot enough to boil your brain today... lucky I don't have one

I think the people who write for The Sun already have boiled brains.

If that's the best thing about living in Scotland, I'm glad I'm English.
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

For most Scotsmen, that would be a swhocking price!

I can't stand this heat anymore. Outdoors this morning it's quite fresh due to a tiny amount of overnight rain - but indoors it's stiffling and muggy still. It's 28C in my study right now - at 7am!

I don't know what everybody's fussing about - it's beautiful here on the clifftop with the sea breeze.

I would agree Tuesday was hotter than yesterday.  It became quite fresh in the evening here and we had torrential rain storms in the middle of the night.

Hot and sunny here.  We did have a few drops of rain in the evening and one rumble of thunder but that was it.
