Have you ever done one? Did you make much?

Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

I don't see why. If you have unwanted goods it makes more sense to sell them to someone who does want them than to simply throw them out, creating more rubbish.

I love them. My husband and daughter did one last Sunday and made £80 out of what I thought was total junk.

I prefer to shop at school or village hall car boots where you get a better quality of goods. WE have some wealthy areas here abouts (Uppingham, Oakham, Oundle) where the charity shops and car boots are full of good books, clothes, china and furniture.

The boot sale at the football field is full of videos, moody DVDs, broken toys and old 8 Track players.

Old but spicey!

Car boot sales here are full of rubbish and usually stolen garden tools. The people walking about are all looking for something for nothing. I find that with proper markets too and toy fayres, yet if I go south they improve dramatically.

I collect old VHS big box tapes and love looking through markets and charty shops to find them. I must say though, people sell some trash at Leeds market. They sell things like old Bella magazines, pre-recorded tapes from the telly, and even their old knives and forks!

Same here kev. People sell old frying pans and toilet seats. They will sell odd tiles and odd rolls of wallpaper.

That reminds me, the other day I saw they were selling fluffy toilet seat covers at the market (for the part of the toilet you sit on). Wouldn't that just collect all the nasty smelly germs?

Someone somewhere made them and thought they would be a top seller.
