no, you are right - theres something about them being crafted into triangles which makes them taste better. (bit like easter eggs - they taste so much better than traditionally shaped chocolate.)

I like Cornish Wafers with Boursin which causes some debat in our house as the general concensus is cheese must be on something crispy rather than crumbly.  Brown bread wouldn't get a look in unless toasted.
