What are your favourite types, sweet and savoury?

I would say vegetable for savoury and apple for sweet, although plum comes a close second.

Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

Creamy chicken and vegetable pie or a decent lean beef and ale pie. For sweet, plum, rhubarb, gooseberry or cherry. I like a bland crust though, no butter or sugar in the pastry.
Old but spicey!

Unfortunately pastry is very bad for you, but apple pie with cinammon and cloves in the USA was awesome!!!

Chicken pie or shepherds pie for savoury, and you can't go wrong with apple pie and custard for sweet.

I was thinking of pie as in pastry but I do actually prefer the shepherds pie/fish pie type with mashed potato on top.

I have had some bad experiences with pies over the past couple of days...

Sunday - Lemon Meringue pie, thought it was Yum til I got to last mouthful and saw mould on the pastry, Made me feel icky.(it was in date)

Monday -  Chicken & Veg pie with chips, Again thought it was yum until...... I ate what I thought was a chip but as soon as the old taste buds kicked in I think it must of been someone's finger >cringe<

I had to run upstairs and scrub my mouth out with half a tube of toothpaste, then I couldn't stop throwing up as I was thinking of it and remembering the taste. It must of been from the pie cos a chip is a chip and you can't really hide anything in a chip but you can easily hide body parts in a chicken pie AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think I will ever eat pies again after this no matter how hungry I am
