Not generally keen on magazines but every now and then I buy a Best or Prima just to remind myself that I'm not missing much.

Just the TV magazine even though I rarely watch it. If there's something good on I'll mark it with a highlighter.

Radio Times. Some of the Sunday supplements (from the Telegraph, Times or Observer). Every now and then I buy YOURS, a thick magazine for people much older than me really but I like it because:

a) No celebrity gossip or pictures

b) Good, old-fashioned recipes

c) Nostalgia features

Whenever I see Yours magazine in shops I always smile and wonder if I'll be reading magazines like that when I'm 70.

I'd say a man whose main interest in life is girls over twenty years younger than him is in no position to criticise what other people like to read.

Following a slight dispute on another forum, we have it on good authority that the correct response is actually 'Hear Hear".  Short for "Hear him, hear him," or something like that.  You learn something new every day - at least I did.

Not what I call good authority!
