Save our school

I heard about this campaign and urge anyone with nothing better to do
on a Friday afternoon to listen to this and support these kids so they
can save their school.  They've even been on Richard & Judy singing.

Dont Close Our School

Don't close our school

It's quiet, it's green, it's dear.

We love this little part of Kent

We really like it here.

So don't close our school

It's been here for many years

My mum and dad both came here too.

It's closure will mean tears

It's closure will mean tears

So save our school

Save it now

We've gotta turn this around some how

So what we are asking you to do

Is save our school

Save our school

Save it now

We've gotta turn this around some how

So what we are asking you to do

Is save our school

Don't close our school

I really like my friends

If we have to close

I could lose touch with them

So don't close our school

My sisters only three

I think she'll really like it here

When she gets big like me.

When she gets big like me.

So save our school

Save it now

We've gotta turn this around some how

So what we are asking you to do

Is save our school

Save our school

Save it now

We've gotta turn this around some how

So what we are asking you to do

Is save our school

Aww

Three local school's are closing near me, including my daughter's school. They are going to build a huge Academy. No one wants it. They are going to cram 2,300 kids into a huge glass dome.

Luckily, my daughter is finishing her A Levels and is heading off for university so she won't suffer but many local kids will.

Old but spicey!

unfortully it a lose casue !

if the council want to spend the £70, 000 a year on a school bus instead of school there will do it.

other problem is that there is a falling school attencede meaning there will need Less school in the futher unless we suddenly have an Baby boom ( which help the ecomany and porvide More taxs to pay for Our pension)

Children in key stage 1 get a piece of fresh fruit or veg a day- sometimes they get these tiny cucumbers which they love.  Some kids at my school have milk at break time which parents choose them to have, it isn't free but i think it is pretty cheap.  Also I think kids on free school meals get their milk paid for, but I'm not certain about that.  I do know that we were stopped from giving them proper milk in cups due to health and safety, now they have those cartons of UHT and fewer of them drink it! Plus they love to inflate them and then burst them over the playground which in the heat is not good!

I have just seen the school, it looks just like mine which I can see closing soon as only OAPs and holiday home owners can afford to buy in the area.  We end up having to poach from the neighbouring schools which puts a lot of pressure on us teachers to make our school the best at everything.
