Just wondered - what do people prefer? I was in sainsburys today overhearing a coupld debating medium and thick bread! Personally I like medium - it gives you crunchier toast

Thick - but usually I have medium as I buy the foil packed stuff, and for some reason Tesco never have thick sliced foil packed.
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

Thick sliced for me. Wholemeal bread

Of course if it's unsliced I can manage to go from extremely thin to outright door step in one complete slice!!

I'm good at that too SM - produces particularly interesting results in the toaster!

Crumpets are a pain in the toaster too.

Oh smurfboy - I'm totally the same. I buy tesco foil (longlife) because I'm on my own and otherwise it just goes out of date. I noticed they only did it in medium too!

Mind you - someone told me longlife bread is rubbish for you because it's full of extra preservatives...

Crumpets have to be done under the grill to get them how I like them - one side seems to need a lot longer than the other to me.

Do you like Pikelets? Prefer them to crumpets.
