I haven't heard of any of these shops either!


We did have a shop here called The Cornish Pastie shop, which did do some yummy ones, lamb was one of my favs, sadly it has been closed for some time now.

I'm with Smurfy - I didn't know there was a high street in the country without a Greggs - we have at least four locally.

I love veg samosas too, gc. In fact I asked my penpal in India for a recipe and she said even they buy them from shops as they are too much bother to make themselves!

I'm in the Midlands and we have Oggy Oggy, Greggs, Cooks, Birds and Bakers Oven in our town...

Its not a pastry but I love the sub roll from M&S with ham and egg in. The roll is really soft and the ham is really tasty

I love those too. Also love the ham and egg seeded rolls that M&S do.
