I'm going to a Eurovision party to watch. The people hosting it are absolute fanatics - one of them could tell you the singers and writers of the Cyprus entry from 1991 without missing a beat!

I heard a few clips of the songs last night and Belgium have a good chance in my view. But the last few years Balkan countries have triumphed because of block voting and there's little anyone can do to stop it.

I will watch it but I don't take it at all seriously. Terry Wogan makes it so good, it should be a good evening's entertainment.

I will be otherwise engaged.  I do usually watch at least some of it though, just to listen to Terry extracting the michael.

Terry's wit makes it worth watching. Most of the songs are awful but it's compulsive so-bad-it's-good viewing.

I think i'd rather eat my own vomit. By the way, the other night, as I was flicking through the channels on the telly, I came across TOTP2 and who else was on the show but Brotherhood of Man and their song Save Your Kisses. I nearly brought up my dinner. Was this song not an entry in 1973? Incidentally, I couldn't get the tune from my head all through the next day. I wanted to die!!!!

And what's more they're appearing at Butlins this weekend!  And guess who's going to be there!  (I will definitely give them a miss though).

I hate Terry Wogan. He always appears drunk to me. UK's entry to eurovision is a load of rubbish again this year.

What is everyone's fave Eurovision song? It's impossible to pick just one, I know! 'Every Way That I Can' by Sertab Erener is a big favourite of mine, as is 'Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi' by Celine Dion. Not to forget 'Diva' by Dana International and 'Let it Swing' by Bobbysox!

Well, if you set aside the obviously memorable Waterloo, Congratulations, Puppet On A String and Bomm Bang-a-Bang, i have forgotten most of them!

The ones that come to mind are All Kinds Of Everything (Dana for Ireland), Knock, Knock, Who's There? (Mary Hopkin) and Come What May (Viki Leandros).

My absolute worse Brisitsh entry must be Power to All Our Friends (Cliff Richard )

Old but spicey!

What is everyone's fave Eurovision song?

"Making your mind up" by Bucks fizz - it won the 1981 contest.

I loved Mike Nolan and was totally devastated when he was hurt in the tour bus crash.

"Love shine a light" by Katrina and the waves was also a great song. At the time (I think it was 1997) it set the record for the highest ever eurovision points score.
