A girl who got pregnant at 11 on, I quote, 'a drunken night out', is set to become Britain's youngest ever mother. She has yet to give up her 20 a day cigarette habit. Her mother claims she is not ashamed of her daughter but 'proud that she's keeping the baby'.

How old is her mother? 28?

This is shocking. I don't know what to say. Smoking, getting drunk and having sex at 11 years old? What is there left for her to enjoy? Where is her childhood?

Who is going to financially support her baby?

Old but spicey!

I read that a 37 yr old man took a 11 yr old girl to the hospital with stomach pains . She gave birth and he was arrested.

There was a programme on last week about Britains youngest mums and dads. They had the 11 year old boy in that was in the papers ages ago. I blame it on the parents - they just keep the cycle going.

The mother in this case is 34 - surely old enough to know that if your 11 year-old daughter got pregnant, pride is one emotion you should definitely not be feeling.

Where is the father of the baby in all this? Is he even old enough to be out of short trousers?

I bet the tax payer ends up footing the bill for this mess for years and years to come.

there have been 2 cases in last few days first was an African girl ( just flown into country from what i read and gave birth in airport toilet) the Uncle was arrested, the other is a british 11yr old ( now 12 ) girl whose mother was proud of her getting drunk and pregnant at 11, i cant help feeling these poor babies stand little chance of doing anything but following the example they have been set and so the circle will continue

He is 15 apparently - not old by most standards, but a positive old timer in comparison to the mother.

Pregnant at 11 or 12 - a tragic loss of a childhood.  Her mother should hang her head in shame.

Her mother should be subject to a prenting order. her daughter should not be having drunken nights out.

This child has been in serious moral danger.
