Digital scales
« on: May 06, 2006, 12:59:20 pm »

Surely these should be the most accurate scales you can buy (without getting a pro standard Fit Club style thingy). So why when I have exactly the same set as my mother am I eight pounds lighter today than I was when I weighed myself at her house yesterday?

Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

Did you have an "all you can eat buffet" for £8?

My scales change reading as I move them around the floor.

When you put scales on a carpeted surface the reading is different from a tiled surface, according to my mum. Apparently the carpet adds to the reading for some strange reason.

I always put my scales in the same place and weigh myself at the same time every week.
