Sesame seed bread brand
« on: April 30, 2006, 10:49:28 am »

This isnt chocolate I know, but Im going mad trying to remember the name of a bread brand that used to do sesame seed bread. I think the bread was regular white sliced but had sesame seeds within the bread. I think it was advertised on TV too and had  a little boy on eating the bread.

From what I remember it was lovely when toasted and buttered.

I believe the brand you seek is Mighty White.

I totally adored mighty white. Blue packs for medium sliced, green for thick. I know asda used to do their own version, but haven't seen it for 2 or 3 years

I don't remember Mighty White having sesame seeds in it, just wholegrain bits

Sesame seeds are so delicious on bread or biscuits. I sprinkle them on my home-made cheese biscuits before I bake them.

Old but spicey!

Eurgh! Black Knight - you have a very dirty mind

Ok - time to launch an appeal methinks. Who made the lovely mighty white? Can we write to them with a petition to bring it back!!!
