When I was about 6 or 7 my parents had a silver tree that seemed to be made from aluminium foil.

Please tell me we weren't the only ones to have one of these.

They were made of tinsel Loulou but I know what you mean! Confession time here, I actually quite like a bit of tinsel on a Christmas tree even though it's considered totally naff. I'd draw the line at an entire tree made out of it but I definitely saw some of them creeping into the shops last year.

I haven't had tinsel on my tree the last few years but I have seen some nice stuff about.

Some people put them beads on the tree not tinsel
