Hi all,
Amazing site. A new one for my faves..

Guys I cannot find any reference to the applause choc bar. I think it was Caubury, and I'm sure it was a biscuity, wafery, caramely type bar. Anyone remember, or can anyone find any pics??

Thanks all.

I vaguely remember the Applause bar. I think it was kind of like a Topic bar, I actually always thought that they renamed the Applause bar as the Topic. I think I remember the TV advert for it as well, I think there was a blonde woman in a bath eating it (not confusing it with the Flake advert!). Although this was when I was about seven, so I could be well off the mark.

I vaguely remember the Applause - I'd forgotten all about it until this post! At first I was going to say it was made by Milka, but I think I'm getting confused with Lila Pause.

I remember Applause bars; they were a bit like a stick of Twix but with raisins in. They had a red wrapper not entirely dissimilar to a Topic but I'm sorry I don't remember who made them.

I remember them having a red wrapper - I think that's why I associated it with the Topic.

I wonder if Bounty was in charge of that advert?

Cherry's right, they definitely had raisins in.
