United Biscuits has relaunched and reformulated its Mini Cheddars range as part of a plan to make them more healthy. At the same time it is branching out into the sharing market with the introduction of Mini Cheddars Moro’s.
Mini Cheddars Original now contains 30% less fat, 10% less sodium, no MSG and no colours, flavours or preservatives. All other Mini Cheddars flavours and Crinklys will also be reduced in saturated fat by 30% and 40% respectively.
New-look packs carry the ‘Same great taste’ message with a £1.5m marketing budget going on a national poster campaign.
Mini Cheddars Morso’s are covered with real cheese sprinkles and are available in three flavours – Mediterranean Herbs & Cheese; Toasted Cheese with Sweet Garlic and Cheddar Cheese & Spring Onion. They are all available in 150g bags which retail at £1.29 each.

I remember when the crinkly ones first came out. I used to love the ad where the mad old Oirish farmer's wife attacked Jane Asher with her crinkler.

Why is this product called Morso's with an apostrophe?????? If Morsos is the plural of Morso, it does not need an apostrophe - only an s!!!

The apostrophe is used to show possession (John's car) or to show contraction (It is - It's). It is NEVER used to make a word plural!!!!

How on earth can I teach that simple rule when companies like this cannot get it right and send out all the wrong messages??

Old but spicey!

So will I.  They can't be allowed to get away with this.  Of course they will come out with the stock reply beloved of greengrocers, that it's "to get attention."

The worst is those sandwich shops that advertise they now sell 'panini's'. Apart from the erroneous apostrophe, the plural of panini is panini!
