Well, how did it go Lou?
It is like those 'tip toe out and close the door very quietly' situations!
This has been such an awful day. just waiting for my neighbours return. She only turned up an hour ago and I think I handled it really well. I knocked her door, she opened it and I burst into tears. She had noticed the empty litter tray and the cats bowls all washed out so had a sneaky feeling something was up.So the short version is I cried, she cried, she apologised for me having to deal with the dying cat and then I apologised for the vets bill(don't know why i apologised, i was getting muddled). She didn't think it was too much to pay, said she would write me a cheque. I then told her how the water board want to dig her kitchen floor up because they say there is a leak. Told her how the wind blew her pear tree over, and she cried again.Tried to cheer her up by telling her that £50 of the vets bill was for the cat to be cremated and have its ashes scattered over the pet cemetery and she cried some more.Anyway she enjoyed her hols.Prague was beautiful, Vienna was beautiful, Budapest wasn't.
Bobs fine in himself just keeps sh*tting everywhere so he has to stay outside, he understands.
sorry to hear about your predicament lou, you should have added another 50 quid on to the vets bill for yourself your friend wouldnt have known.
It was that sensational no-one knew about it.
