As the large slabs are all changing over to 250g, Tesco have reduced their remaining 200g bars to 79p. Move quick though - most of the ones at our local Tesco were gone within a couple of days (except for the orange!)

So much for the manufacturers down-sizing their products then!

Hmm, seems like that fad is dead along with low-carb chocolate...

Why do that? That's dangerous. No knives in Asda.

Can't they just put special restrictions on choccie bars like banning fat people from buying them, sort of like banning under 18's from drinking.

How does this equate with the manufacturers adopting a "responsible" attitude and reducing the size of bars?

Don't get me wrong, I couldn't give a hairy fig. Anyone with a braincell knows when too much is too much.

I think they realised the customers didn't actually want the government telling them how big a chocolate bar they could buy!

I had a lot to eat this weekend but walked eight miles Saturday up hill and down dale.  Also shagged like a rabbit Saturday and Sunday.  I've had a big tea tonight but will go for a long brisk walk in the morning.  It's not rocket science to maintain a healthy weight.

There's a rule that if you eat healthy 80% of the time, you can eat junk 20% of the time.
