I saw it too and had a wry chuckle to myself.

I called my boys fairly traditional names the eldest is Oliver, known as Ollie,  and the youngest is Max.

Neither Seemed to be wildly over popular or unsual at the time, however both do seem to be quite common now. Porr Ollie had 3 Olivers in his class at one time in primary school.

It was quite hard to choose their names as our surname is Swedish, but actually sounds very Jewish.... I was sorely tempted to name at least one ot them Heimy

The worst thing you can do to a child is name them after a celeb or TV character. For instances, there are loads of Kylies running around now. On the lady herself it sounds fine - on council estate girls with high ponytails it just adds to the sense of chavviness.
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

Can you imagine a person getting to the age of 80 with a name like Kylie or Chelsea? It's just silly.

True but a while ago I couldn't imagine babies called Freddie, Alfie or Lily and now they're all over the place!

I like the names Angelina, Rebecca, Amanda, Hazel, Lorna and Leah.  They among others appear in my naughty stories.

Rebecca and Amanda are very middle class sixth former names

I couldn't write a story about a girl called Kylie.

According to my "Little Book of Chav" Rebecca is definitely a chav name.  I think my niece would disagree though.
