The woman in my post office has a grand daughter called Imogen. That's quite nice.

Imogen Stubbs.  Got naked in 'The Rainbow'.  Fine totty.  That was a few years ago though.

I would like to see the return of Kim for girls. It used to be very popular and I think it's quite pretty.

My colleagues and I always quake when we see a Charlene or a Chantelle on a class register because for some reason they always spell trouble!!

Old but spicey!

Oldspice, a friend of mine that I think I've mentioned before has three girls called Chantelle, Charlene and Charmaine.  They live in Bromley....

I have heard teachers say the same thing about Adam for boys.

My work colleague's three grandchildren are called Tarrow (boy) Tinker (girl) and Freya (girl). When they are playing in the park she will only call Freya and hope the others tag along as even she finds the other two names too embarrassing to call out!

Jessie was originally going to be named destiny but i had to think about her school years and it would have been cruel to name her destiny, sher would of suffered years of torment.

When she came out i knew straight away she was a jessie!! A nice old fashioned name.

You mentioned Bromley... any particular relevance?

I remember seeing this old bloke in Woolies once trying to get his grandaughter away from the chocolate shouting 'Caprice! Caprice, gerrova 'ere!' in a broad Brummie accent! It was priceless!

There seems to be a fashion for naming boys with what are traditionally surnames, like Mitchell, Fletcher, Taylor etc.

My sister's children are called Hope, Independence, Potential and Mary. How ridiculous can you get. Calling a child Mary in this day and age!
