Hate it mainly.  Do like Natural history museum and planetarium though.  Just too many people, I get claustrophobic and too ruddy expensive.

London is crap.  When you think how much stuff costs too.  What is it to get in Buckingham palace?  £19  It costs £12 to get in the Cistine Chapel and all the galleries and chancels en route.  St John's Basillica is free.

Oslo and Copenhagen are more intersting than London too.

Copenhagen is more expensive than London - never been to Oslo so cannot comment.

London for me is not a favourite place but does have some lovely places and interesting history. The rest is a Sh*t hole.

Fair enough.  have they still git dinosaurs at Crystal Palace?  Saw them there as a kid.  I'm still bonkers on dinosaurs.

I like it for the odd visit but would never live there. What I DO hate is Londoners who, when you talk about anywhere else in the world, feel the need to butt in with sentences starting with 'in London...'

I love it personally. Okay, I'm biased as it's my home town, but I moved away for six years and appreciated it much more having left and come back. Which part will you be living in if you go?

I used to live there. I like visiting London and would like to have a bolt-hole there for weekends but don't think i could go back and live there.

Smurfboy, I don't know as yet, I have to wait to see if I get in then look for accommodation. Hopefully somewhere close to the uni, I don't want to be too far away from it.
