I am sure when I was around 8 most bars were 25p. Hubba Bubba used to be 10p!

A small block of Dairy Milk was 6d when I was a nipper. That's two-and-a-half pence in 'new' money!

I also remember Creme Eggs being 4p and I still have a ticket for the London Palladium, best seats in the house, to see a big singing star of the time - price - £2!

Cadburys are now saying there will be a shortage soon becasue they can't keep up with demand, they have been taking orders from retail chains and cash n carry's, but have said they may not be able to fulfil orders.

Does anyone remember this happening with Galaxy Caramel when it first came out? It was something to do with it being trialed only in Scotland but then supply dried up for months...........
