Hello guys, just stumbled upon your site whilst reminiscing about sweets and my childhood. Following other topics on confectionary from the 70's-80's, like cabanas, 5 centres, and the infamous Cadbury's Bar Six, who can remember Banjo's which were two finger wafers covered in chocolate and came in 2 verieties, blue wrapper for peanut and the red wrapper for coconut. Also was there not a toffee bar? in the seventies called "nutty" which came in a brown wrapper and was covered in peanuts?
Cadbury's have certainly let us all down in the past by withdrawing products like Cabana and taking the raisins out of the base of Double Deckers and I think they did it again by withdrawing coconut Boosts as well (probably the nearest they got to re-introducing the Cabana, but not quite) It'll be interesting to see what they come up with in the next 10-20 years.
