I agree

I bought some cheapo raspberry jaffa cakes from Lidl today - I'll let you know my verdict...

Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

Don't expect a decent Pims substitute Smurfy. I had a right good sniff at a box the other day for traces of almond/marzipan.

Just tried them and they're not bad at all. Okay, the chocolate isn't the best quality, but the cakey bit is quite nice. as is the filling - and at 69p for two packets, you can't really knock it!

If I were asked 'what would you rather do, eat a box of Jaffa Cakes or listen to a cuckoo' i am afraid I'd pick the Jaffa Cakes. Shallow I know but there you are.

I finally ate my lemon and lime Jaffa cakes and enjoyed them. Saturday I went grocery shopping and visited Lidl and bought a box each of the raspberry and cherry flavours; I will try them soon!

Let us know how they are Cherry.

Does anyone dunk their Jaffas? Personally I like mine with a glass of milk, no dunking.

I don't think Jaffas are suited to dunking.
